Mascara

***I just read Sandy Durtschi's post and thought of this draft I wrote last week***

I never loved makeup.
It's messy, my hand isn't very steady, my eyeshadow just won't go on like the tutorials.
I get bored cause it takes so long to put on. (long being more than a minute)
Foundation looks orange.
Foundation gets on my clothes.
Foundation looks white.

Plucking my eyebrows sucks, I always pinch myself and my arms get tired, I pretty much only pluck the hair that is undeniably screaming to be removed.

BUT...this morning I have discovered a love for mascara...must be cause my youth is trying to walk out the door, ha ha ha, or the combination of that and my love of those graves (shift, that is). Voila, I have a somewhat awake presentation...

Only thing that is disheartening now is, all of sudden if I don't wear the mascara, I must be tired or sad or blah, blah, blah...guys don't get asked that when they decide to go make-up free...

Oh yeah they don't care about what they look like...no wait I mean they don't have the fun of the makeup woes.

If you want a break from mascara but don't want people to say "ugh are you sick today?" Bust out the eyelash curler. I have one in my car and office for those very occasions. Hahaha. No for real though.

Wish the curler was enough...some days settling for just the curler is great...light years ahead of where I used to be... hahaha
