Its no surprise, Mr. SS and I don't see eye to eye, on pretty much everything under the sun. Tough, yes, its a journey everyday to come to the common ground. Finding that common ground is equally as hard.
Music however has been the bridge of visibility.
Sitting here going through twtter posts, fb posts, guest bloggers, I've come to the realization of my married life. I'm going to travel to the other side of the bridge to "get it." I don't mean "it," duh...
I am dissatisfied with the current communication I have and yet I haven't gone completely insane about it. Insane about my understanding of the one willing to lay it all down for me. I have been prideful and have been blind to owning up to it.
Mr. SS breathes music.
What better avenue for connection. I love me some music but, to go without it so no biggie for me, I'm busy, I'm tired, I'm this or that. For him, not the case, there is always time for a some loud, bumping tunes to put it all in prospective. So here's a blog for the reading and for the music-head's enjoyment. Warning: Twitter can get pretty raw, so there's your heads up.

Back at it
I had a whole list of blog-abouts I wanted to start on and then...they didn't get written down, thus they have been forgotten. Back to the graves, this night/morning is so familiar and so despised. I hate that I'm back here but I'm so excited to back with my kids during the day. I'm not exactly sure why, but it is a definite blow to the pride that I'm back to where I thought I wouldn't be back to, but man I'm blessed to have work and for now, I need to put myself in check...
So for now, I'm off to finding some things I need to get done and keeping eyelids in the position they should be in. Here's to the midnight chronicle I live.

Tuesday aka known Two's Day
The second day of the week is always a little easier, a little easier to get out for a workout and easier time waking up. Easier on the kiddos wake up, easier on the husband's wake up.
Headed out to the gym this morning and did my own version of agilities in the NW Rec. I love going there, because there isn't anyone there. That is a huge hurdle to jump through for myself to jump through when I need to work out. Well maybe not exactly huge, because I'm used to the "dying ugly" in front of others. I had 7 years of some high intensity workouts. Still I have a hard time getting into the mind frame of complete surrender. Surrender to a few things:
1 I am not that sharply dressed fashionista when I work out.
I'll settle for a pony tail and be happy with a shirt that doesn't hang to my knees. Although on this point, I want to change. I'm thinking of rewarding myself with cute workout pieces as I'm achieving my goals. I want to have those workout outfits, I feel great when I look great. This includes the matching shorts and shoes.
2 I'm out of shape.
I'm desperately wanting a strong and sound body and mind. I will look good but need to put in the work. And for me putting in the work is NOT pretty. I don't run cute, don't sweat cute, don't breathe cute. So me getting into shape is not going to be pretty, get over it.
3 Sausage tastes so good!
I find myself cheating all the time on things I don't need or really even want. I justify with I'm a on the go mom I need to eat SOMETHING. In other words, my planning skills better pick up, cause these on the go meals are negating the lines I just ran at the gym.

Shoes
There isn't much more explaining that can be done. I love a find on shoes and happened upon this blog post Gold Rush displaying my new fav shoes! The Kohl's clearance special worth waiting for $12 baby. Good thing cause I needed that cute shoe pick-me-up from the "feelin' frumpy" kind of day. I went crazy a pick up another pair for the bargain, retail therapy, so superficially satisfying.

Working Moms
Must be post pregnancy hormones. I have emotionally been unbalanced this week. I've always wanted to stay home with the kiddos, but have been fortunate to have work. For the past 9 months I've been working during the day and I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. So I cried when I left the kiddos and I felt like crying when I had to quit. Yesterday was my last day and ta da I'm on a new adventure.
So here's what's on the plate:
-I will still be working in the off business hours, not as many hours and for less pay.
-I will be undertaking a business venture with a good friend of mine and am very excited for the thrill of it.
-Still working on my role with Soul Stable and anxious to get out of my comfort zone working with my husband.

Reasons and Excuses
When am I supposed to work on this beach body of mine, when I don't have the time. I tried to get around the excuse but, really, I don't see it as an excuse, it's merely a fact. To workout I neglect some other area of life necessity. Right now, I'm losing sleep. I'm losing patience because I want to get his post in and my beautiful son is telling me about the life of a 1st grader and the woes of an unaccepted apology. In short the same reasons why I don't have time are the same reasons why I need to find/make the time:
Family: I haven't see my kids or husband all day
Time: I have a million things to get done.
I'm tired: I stayed up all night with the baby.
My kids, my husband need me, how can I be effective with them if I am not fit both mind and body. Mind, well not too sure about that one being effective anyway but at least my body will be more fit to take on the world. Well at least theoretically.
Time, well since I can't create any more time, I better be healthy and fit for the time that I do have. The time have daily and the time I have left in this life.
I'm tired, all the reason why I have to get my exercise in. The waking hours that I do have I need to be on point
Today was rough, I don't know how else to convince SS to get his workout in. He claims small victories but I don't see that as being enough for the state of health he is in. I'm tired for sure now, and really will go mental if I don't get out of here and close my eyes. So my baby is calling my name, well crying anyway

Exercise
This blog is my accountability, minus the picture. I have my own picture, but don't think i'm ready to make that viral. Anyway I am a different person when I get my exercise, this is why I need to make this happen. Yes, I'm fairly active, being on the move with my house of craziness but, not the same as that physical activity level of working out. Being up nearly every morning around 3 has allowed me to get some motiviation from watching the Insanity infomercial. My other driving force, I see so many young people hurting themselves with their lifestyle. Who am I kidding, they are killing themselves. Although there are many close to me, I want to "save." I really need to start with myself. Although this is mostly about ME, I am on a mission to save my family. My husband first, then my children. What do I mean? Hopefully Soni is ok with me sharing our experience. His health is in the red zone and we have to be drastic, this is my way of staying accountable to the mission I know I need to accomplish. My children...up to this point I have not been a example to follow with my eating habits, i want to change, i want them to have the health education to take care of what God gave them.
This morning will not be very different from the ones that will continue to come along. As usual up alot with my baby. So tired, don't want to get out of bed, but barely picked myself up off her floor and made it to the basement where I continued to freeze my butt off. By this time I have 20 minutes to do "something." So for the next 23 minutes I jump around the downstairs doing who exactly knows what, a little tai-bo, a little P90x and a little Utah State agilities.
What have I eaten...well i forgot breakfast, ate 7-11 junk (sausage eggs biscuit) and hot chocolate... so far not such a hot start in the eating arena. I really need to get my meals under control, can't be getting my beach body like this.
