Sitting here, thinking to myself, "I'm sure everyone here at work feels pity for me cause they're sure I only have a drawer full of clothes. Must be why she always wears that sweatshirt...what hard economic times."{hee hee hee}
Ok, really though I love me a sweatshirt, in the dead winter, on the cool summer nights, in the chilling football season of fall and in the brisk spring mornings. Yep, that pretty much covers it. What makes a good sweatshirt, you say, well #1 the hood must be about 2 feet deep, well deep enough that I can feel like I'm hiding and no one can see me, [this feature is the cause of this post] there's something about relaxing, reading, driving, you name it, with my hood on #2 must be about 3 sizes too big, and what you shouldn't be wearing to work, or probably what the dress code at work would prohibit. Regardless a sweatshirt big enough to provide that instant comfort of zen where ever I decide to venture. Okay really I don't know the exact definition of zen but, from what I've gathered [makes me think of Run's House how they have that zen living room] a peace within...Zen should probably be capitalized too, huh?!?
So thanks to Highland Rugby, then to my brothers, then to my husband, who provided a way for me to enjoy this simple pleasure for the past 6 months for 5 out of the 7 days of the week. And to the washer and dryer who has held up to the washing of this blanket of a sweatshirt.
*I didn't find a sweatshirt from swagbucks to do the subject justice, so I'll just add a pic of the real deal tomorrow :)

I would prefer to live in sweats everyday of my life. Not the most attractive/flattering clothing, but definitely most comfortable (too bad its not considered dress code at work). I also agree with you on all 3 of your criterias for a good sweatshirt. I also prefer sweatshirts with hoods that are already broken in and have been worn at least 100 times.... they just feel better. My husband hates my sweats, but I call them my "sexy sweats" because that is totally what they are not. LOL!!
